If you happen to be around Netherlands Architectural Institute, visit this cafe. Ari is famous for serving International cuisine. Don't forget to taste nicely cooked op la, ribs and hamburgers at this place. A lot of visitors order good beer or delicious wine. Great coffee is among the best drinks to order.

Absolutely worth 5++ star for the location, quality of food and beverages, and especially the very friendly service from the owner/manager. I had spareribs which I can simply described as the best in Rotterdam. From these photos one can appreciate the beauty of the interior. It must be tough to compete with the ever popular café restaurant across the street but allow me to assure you that everything is better at Ari. Give it a try, you won't regret it. Oh Café Ari, if I could, I would give you 6 stars! This little gem in the heart of Rotterdam became our home away from home before I could even say "goeieavond". We were on a trip around the Netherlands with my wife and chose Rotterdam as our base of operations. Our apartman was a corner away from Ari, so we headed there for dinner after we settled in. A good selection of beers, a surprisingly good kitchen and friendly staff made us fall in love with the place quite instantly. A HUGE shoutout to Fabian who kept us entertained when we were just sitting at the bar sipping away our beers after a busy day of sightseeing; such a fantastic fellow behind the taps! The place is also beautifully decorated, gives a very nice vibe and is usually not overly crowded; which on one hand is good, but on the other hand: where do people go instead of Ari? Come on, it's a great place! If I ever happen to be in Rotterdam again, I won't hesitate to pop by.
