I like the new atmosphere at this place. Very open and airy. My coffee was good, but not great. But the service was very slow. It took a long time just to get a coffee, and the place was mostly empty. I was hoping this was because I was there on off hours so they didn't have much staff, but my wife and some friends went here on a Saturday morning, and said the wait was similarly slow, and the food was just okay. Too bad.

I met a colleague here for a work meeting for my first visit. I decided to have a smoothie and I'm so glad I did. I chose the berry flavored smoothie and it was full of berry goodness. So delicious. We chose a table on the porch. There is so much seating here in different nooks. It's a nice place to have a meeting or just some quiet time. With the cars going by, the porch got a little loud but it was a lovely place to enjoy a beautiful morning. Service was quick. Parking was a bit confusing. There is no street parking right in front (drop off only on Nicollet). The lot next door is supposed to be for the businesses to the south of Arise. There is some parking across the street.

This coffee shop got a much needed makeover and it's so so cute now! Their coffee is tasty and well-priced, I enjoy their scones, and they have plenty of seating. I will for sure be back!
