Beer selection is fun, although the bartenders seem to be taught early on to avoid actual conversation. The restaurant portion seems to be heavily dependent on both how busy it is and how much you’re willing to tip. Under normal circumstances I would only give it three stars but every employee I’ve met will confirm they watch drinks and question certain interactions. Knowing then that the bar staff may be off-standish and the kitchen misses on your food but EVERYONE makes sure drinks are secure and people are monitored means a lot. I have been to Armored Gardens multiple times. It is open 7 days a week and their kitchen stays open past 9pm. The food is above average pub food. Even the salads are good which is usually not the case in a bar setting. Most notable is their beer and cider menu. Close to 100 options! The liquor selection is also good. The place is spacious and there is even a large out door area. Great place to meet up after work or for lunch, as well as take out of towners.
