I want to give no star rating but I can’t. Friday 730pm evening dinner for me. Restaurant still empty. Several hot drink menu choices not available. Nigiri sushi choices limited and many not available. Had great experience before. Now one year later this place is in downfall, poor service and attention. Waitress charged my cc in US dollar even though I requested to pay in Euro. Mistake? I can understand that. Cancelled usd charge and re run the cc. Machine will charge in USD even though you press key for charging in Euro. Check your bill and payment if your eating here. Here is Portugal not USA, therefore you as a customer need to be offered the choice of currency to pay. Waitress never suggested that. While paying in USD here there is a money exchange conversion rate and PLUS a Mark Up percentage of 5,00%. Be wise and watch your bill and payments. We had been eating Portuguese food for 7 days, and couldn't find a Japanese-run sushi restaurant, so we chose this one, which was within walking distance of our hotel. The seared horse mackerel is absolutely delicious. The omakase nigiri had 3 to 4 pieces of creative sushi such as grilled sushi, and all of them were very delicious. I ate at the counter, so I was very happy that the chef was attentive and served the sushi in a timely manner, checking on how my meal was progressing.
