Update — had dinner again & it was outstanding. SUCH a cozy atmosphere there on cold winter nights. Loved the new wood burning stove, grilled chicken, and chocolate cake. Had a wonderful dinner here, I think the best we had in/around Tirana. The ingredients made the food special to me. Most of it is farm-to-table organic food. The highlights for me were the marinated pork ribs (yum!!) and a delicious beet salad with cream cheese (and I don’t even like beets). The chocolate cake dessert was out of this world. The atmosphere felt cozy with a fireplace. It felt like a lovely getaway from the city. It’s a little bit far but only a $12 taxi ride from the city center. That felt worth it. It gets chilly at night if you’re outside, so bring a sweater. It’s also kid-friendly with a large garden for kids to play in. They have a large selection of Albanian wines, which is interesting. I liked the Kallmet a lot - full body and a good pairing for pork. I would definitely like to come back - for lunch or a date night. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I recently visited Arra e Eger and had such a great experience! The restaurant combines traditional Albanian food with a slight modern twist, and the result is delicious. The dishes felt authentic but also creative, with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy yet stylish.
