We've had two excellent meals here in the last month. I especially enjoyed the scallops.
My husband and I had the most amazing meal in Santa Fe. The service and the food is most enjoyable. If you come to this area, you must dine at this jewel!!!
Sitting outside under the tent at Arroyo Vino, a well liked restaurant 15 minutes outside Santa Fe, the enchantment of New Mexico was palpable.  Unfortunately, the food and service at Arroyo Vino weren't quite as enchanting.   Ostensibly, a wine restaurant attached to a wine store, the menu at Arroyo Vino was quite extensive for a relatively small space.  Some of the offerings were wonderful, such as the pork schnitzel.  The seafood dishes were drowned in toppings, masking the organic flavor of the fish.  Pastas were interesting, but not really delicious.  They were okay.   Service was more Taos laid back than Santa Fe slick, except for a white jacketed maitre d', who was incongruously formal.  Laissez faire service is fine, with Taos prices.  Arroyo Vino had Santa Fe pricing.  When Arroyo Vino has entertainment, I will be happy to return.  Yet, I wouldn't go out of my way just for the food.
