Discovered Artisti del Vegetariano Milano on Google maps yesterday after we had to leave a different establishment (Bun Burger) because the items we thought were vegan at Bun Incredible Burger (were not vegan). Artisti Del Vegetariano Milano is a much healthier option anyway. We were unsure how much would be vegetarian and how much would be vegan at Artisti, but the lovely host explained to us when we arrived that EVEYTHING is vegan. As vegans, this is the best thing you can hear! It was really a pleasure to be able to choose from all the different options in the room. As another reviewer explained, the name of the business was created before the term vegan became well known/uses. I’m not sure if honey is used on any of their dishes as some people consider honey to be vegan ok, and some do not (Personally I do not). Perhaps the staff can confirm in the comments here if honey is used in any of the dishes. Thank you!). The location is in a very nice part of town. I see several complaints about the prices, and I understand the issue, but I honestly think you will not find such a wonderful vegan location in this part of town, especially where you can order quickly, without a reservation. Staff explain that the food is fresh, and always good quality. I agree. From my experience everything seemed very fresh and very good quality. There are 3 small/high tables outside (no indoor seating and that I’m aware of). Unfortunately the tables are very, very close together, so it was a bit difficult sitting between two other groups with our bags, etc, but it was ok and a nice scenic area. Be aware, it is not a quiet place to sit and eat, but a place with lots to see such as the charming city tram as it passes by, folks passing by, and the store window itself is very attractive as well. Some other reviews commented on the food being microwaved; I’m not a fan of micro-waving food to reheat it as I feel it kills the texture and some of the taste, but I think we all experience this much more often when we order food than we realize. Prepared fresh would certainly be preferable, but overall I enjoyed every dish we tried, plus no waiting. Very convenient and quick service. I do agree with a comment that claimed staff filled their plate with too much of one type of food, which is problematic as you pay by the weight, so pay attention or specify how much or how little you would like. I guess sauce on one dish cost extra, or contributes to the weight, but we were asked first if we would like it and it was recommended (and it was very nice). As a result our price was about €36 which was about twice as much as I had hoped to spend, but again, it’s very good quality, healthy food, in a very nice part of town. Personally I can’t afford to spend that much very often, but I really like this place and want them to do well. I have already recommended it to friends and I would certainly go again, but I would be more careful to ask about prices and specify option sizes more clearly. Really nice interior, beautiful display of food, and friendly/smiley staff. Overall a very good experience. I would really like to see this place get only good reviews and every customer have a great experience. I think the key to this might be staff being more informative with customers whenever possible, but I realize it’s impossible to please everyone and sometimes impossible to explain ever detail. In our case, I feel the host was informative, friendly, and professional. Thank you for the great options of beautiful, healthy food without animal exploitation, suffering, and cruelty. I wish you, your staff, and customers all the best for a happy, healthy, future! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40
