The service was amazing. They took us in even though it was so close to the last order at 11:30. The tables are small and I spilled my cocktail all over myself and my food. They gave me a new one. The food was excellent. I'll admit my boyfriend wished the seafood paella had squid ink in it. He likes my dish mich better. The duck paella. I don't even like duck because I associate duck woth lots of fat. It wasn't fatty. It tastes amazing. The seafood paella could have had more flavor but it was still good. Fair prices, wonderful funny staff. We didn't wait long. Great paella.
Delicious paella and a decent wine list. I also liked the service. It could be a touch hard to get in on Sunday evening, so book in advance.
My husband and I ate here a couple of years ago and loved it.  So it was with excitement that we headed there again when back for a visit this week.  Unfortunately we did not have the same experience. While the place itself is still charming (although it is somewhat difficult to find) and the blackberry mojito is still incredible, the food was just ok. We were hoping for the non-tourist version of paella and I would say it was slightly better, but just slightly. Also we felt rushed from the moment we sat down. As Americans we scheduled dinner at 7:30pm and instead of allowing us to enjoy our cocktail and appetizer, the waiter seemed to hover around and continued to come back to our table for our full order...many times.  I'm pretty sure he was counting on turning that table. This is not something that we've experienced in Spain so it was noticeable and, quite frankly, annoying. I think we'll skip go for a mojito next time and eat elsewhere.
