If you haven’t been to As You Like It Ice Cream Shop yet, you’re definitely missing out, especially if you live in Somerset County or happen to be around the Raritan area. Located right on the corner of W. Somerset Street and Wall Street, this spot is well worth stopping by. I had the vanilla hard ice cream with Oreos mixed in, and it was outstanding. Fresh, flavorful, and made exactly the way good ice cream should be. They also have a large variety of flavors, toppings, and combinations to choose from, so there’s something for just about everyone. What also stood out to me was how clean and welcoming the shop was. Nick provided excellent customer service from the moment we walked in, professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which always makes the experience better. On top of that, there’s plenty of convenient street parking nearby. Overall, great ice cream, great atmosphere, and great service. I highly recommend checking this place out if you appreciate a quality local business and a good dessert spot.
