Fast service, opens later than others, convenient parking right on the street in front of the restaurant (I went late at night though so there weren't many people on the road), fresh fish. The portion was enough for two of us (one 3 scoop bowl) but we weren't hungry. The portion is a little smaller than other places hence docking one star. But the taste was great.

We decided to get a quick poke bowl lunch before heading back to the Bay Area. I checked Yelp for poke places in West Los Angeles and found Asakuma Sushi & Poke which sounded familiar since they had a restaurant nearby on Wilshire. The location was a former Japanese restaurant and has a small parking lot in the back. I arrived there at 11 am right when they opened. Ordered two separate bowls one with two scoops of protein and one with three scoops. A list of add on's, toppings and sauces are attached to a small clip board. Medium to small size portions. The fish was fresh and the service was quick. $27 before tip.
