There is a variety of meat dishes and I enjoyed there 3 camel meat dishes and liked them a lot but don't try to have the "saaloona" dish that scents or tastes not good. Price per person: OMR 2–4

While Salalah may have more options for camel dishes, here in Muscat, spots like this are rare — and worth the visit! Located behind Al Ameen Mosque in Bousher, Ashtaar offers a simple yet authentic experience with majlis-style seating and a menu focused purely on camel meat. We went for the combo plate — two types of camel meat in rich gravy, paired with two kinds of rice, plus two chilled Kinza drinks — all for just 4.6 OMR. The flavors? Subtle, hearty, and truly local.
