Small but cozy place. The service is do-it-yourself, that is, you serve yourself, order at the counter and then they bring the dishes to you. Spicy and delicious food. Super recommended! Portions quite generous Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: BGN 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Ashurbanipal is a sort of tavern located in the neighborhood between the Synagogue and the "Women's Market" of Sofia. A multi-ethnic area, with ancient traditions of tolerance and integration, dating back to the Russo-Turkish war and then continued as a welfare garrison after the wars. A reflection of these traditions is the cuisine of his friend Frederick: intense, spicy, but fresh and of excellent quality both in the vegetables (recommended for vegetarians) and in the meats. The welcome of the owner, of Armenian origins, was also an experience. A memory to carry in your heart. Vegetarian options: Ethnic dishes based on local vegetables. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: BGN 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Not sure
