It was definitely different. The menu choices were a little odd, but some decent choices. The lamb lollipops wetr alright, nothing very special. Just basic cooked lamb with some seasoning. Nothing really jumps out at me to immediately come back to this place as fast as possible. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Staff were great, but this restaurant has one of the smallest menus that I have ever seen! Very basic bar with basic food. For example, you can get wings or tenders and they only have 3 different sauce options. The portions are on the smaller side too. Food was not bad but nothing about this restaurant would make me want to come back.

Hey Karissa, I think you may have reviewed the wrong restaurant. Our menu here at The Assembly has 47 unique and delicious menu items with 4 to 5 additional specials that rotate daily and an additional 20 brunch items on the weekend lol. 12 appetizers ranging from Nachos to Lamb Lollipops. 6 signature salads. 8 Handheld options from tacos to smash burgers. 6 pastas including our house specialty Cajun tortellini. 6 Pizzas such as our best selling house specialty honey mustard chipotle chicken and 9 entrees ranging from steak tips to chicken curry to haddock scalopini. Including 8 wing and tender flavors. BBQ, Buffalo, Lemon Pepper, Gold Fever, Sweet Heat, Cajun Dusted and Garlic Parm. If it is menu variety you are looking for we are located at 425 Hancock st Quincy Ma please come and try us out some time. We look forward to your visit!

Not really sure what’s going on at Assembly. We would frequently go and get some of our favorite meals (southwest wrap and Cajun tortellini with a side of white rice). We went a few months ago to find that the menu had completely changed. When we asked what happened we were told that the restaurant was under new management including a new cook who was “getting used to the oldies”. We ended up leaving as most of the food seemed microwaveable. The waitress said it wasn’t the first time patrons had left due to this change. Very disappointing. Upon reading the other reviews I’m confused by seeing replies saying this isn’t the truth and the restaurant was going through a “kitchen remodel”. If this is true why were so many of us told there was a change? Why have so many waitresses said they’ve heard the same complaints, some even leaving? And why are the old favorites not back? I don’t think we’ll be going back here any time soon which is sad because it was always a great option! Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Hey Casey, thank you for your feedback. It is actually pretty coincidental timing for you to voice this specific opinion. We are excited to announce we are launching a "new" menu on Monday June 22nd that will be bringing back such fan favorites as ; Cajun Tortellini, Southwest Wrap, Chicken Milanese Salad, Sliders, Chicken Parmesan, PEI Mussels, Rigatoni Bolognese and more. I assure you the restaurant is not under new management and there are no microwaves in our kitchen lol. We did have some unfortunate and unforeseen turnover with the kitchen staff. As a result we made the decision to pull some of our flagship menu items until we were confident that the kitchen could execute them to the level that our valued customers have come to expect. The good news is we are back to full strength again in the kitchen and will be reintroducing those items and more in just 2 days!! We hope you will come back and visit us again soon to enjoy the Assembly as you used to. Cheers!
