Tried Assembly Ground for the first time and really enjoyed it. The place gets busy, so I’d definitely recommend booking ahead. The food was fantastic great flavours, generous portions, and the presentation was impressive. Even looking around at what other tables ordered, everything coming out looked spot‑on. Staff were amazing: friendly, quick, and on top of everything. Really well done to the whole team. The only downside was being seated at one of the small tables at the back near the bathroom. It felt a bit tucked away, and I would’ve loved to experience more of the Essendon vibe and atmosphere out in the main area. Aside from that, it was a great visit and I’d happily come back.
