Worst hot dogs of my life!!! First of all, the cashier or whatever was incredibly rude and she looked at me like I was crazy for taking my time ordering. I ordered two korean styled dogs and both were raw. The dough was sweet in a gross way and also slimy??? I feared that I’d contract some kinda disease after consuming (I only ate half before I stopped). At this point, you’re better off making your own hotdogs at home where it would be properly cooked. Stopped by the Cargo District and I was quite impressed with the area and extremely intrigued by Astro Dogs. Ordered up the Cool Ranch Doritos crusted dog with Thai Chili sauce. I am shocked how much I liked it. I did expect a larger dog though. (I know, I know, it's not always about the size). Either way, cool spot, support them and give it a try. AstroDogs is a fun and flavorful stop for anyone looking for a unique twist on classic corn dogs. We tried several from their creatively named menu—the “Neptune”, “Asteroid”, “Sun” and “Mars” dogs—and each one brought its own bold personality to the table. The Neptune - rolled in cool ranch Doritos was my favorite. We also had the Asteroid came with fries “attached”. The other two packed a bit more heat and crunch. The Sun dog (hot Cheetos) was bright and flavorful, and the Mars (takis) was hearty and satisfying with toppings that really worked. AstroDogs makes corn dogs feel like a destination dish, not just an afterthought. With its playful menu, tasty options, and a laid-back vibe, it’s a great stop whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or satisfying a late-night craving.
