Nestled in the bustling locale near Shibuya Station, Asuka was a modest ramen shop located on Sakuraoka-cho. Known for its signature tan-tan style ramen, Asuka combined the flavors of traditional noodles with deep-fried pork, offering a unique twist beloved by those who enjoy ramen and tonkatsu.
Though somewhat under the radar and not widely featured in popular restaurant directories, Asuka managed to attract diners with its distinctive dishes. Its bare-bones setup included no reservation or outdoor seating options, suggesting a straightforward dining experience where visitors would order and pay upfront. Past patrons appreciated the spicy kick of the meals, particularly during bustling lunch hours.
Unfortunately, reliable recent updates are scarce as Asuka seems to have closed its doors several years ago due to redevelopment in the area. The last available reviews date back seven years, implying an absence of fresh information about the current status directly from the restaurant's owners. Despite its closure, Asuka remains a memory for those who enjoyed their flavorful offerings amidst the vibrant Tokyo dining scene.

Great Pako Tantanmen (Thinly sliced Deep Fried Pork on Sesame Seed Flavoured Soup with Noodles) ! Comes with rice and Takana Pickles. Order/pay first. The Deep Fried Pork has some cumin on it.

Asuka is where noodle meets tonkatsu. If you’re a fan both, your mouth must be watering right now. This restaurant serves as their signature dish the tan-tan ramen variety.

Small ramen shop near Shibuya station. Try the signature bowl, good and spicy. Popular at lunch hours.
