We stumbled upon Atheree while wandering the streets today, and it turned out to be the absolute highlight of our trip so far. If you are looking for an authentic, welcoming Greek dining experience, this is it. From the moment we walked in, the owner and staff treated us like family. They were incredibly nice, attentive, and proud of the food they serve—as they should be! Everything we ordered was amazing: The Bread & Olive Oil: Simple, fresh, and high-quality. Greek Salad: Bursting with flavor and perfectly crisp. Dolmadakia: Absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. Meatballs with Tzatziki & Potatoes: A standout. The meatballs were perfectly seasoned, and the tzatziki was incredibly fresh. To top it off, we got to sample the local drinks, pairing our meal with Athens beer, Ouzo, and Tsipouro. Every single one was fantastic and rounded out the perfect meal. To find food and hospitality of this caliber in the city at such a very reasonable price is rare. Don't hesitate to step inside if you find this place—it’s a wonderful, memorable experience. We will definitely be back! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
