Seeing a lot of comments that are 1 star because this place is no longer Japanese. Not understanding the bad review because of this?? AMAZING food!! They just opened and have almost no staff - somehow they were still awesome. There is something to be appreciated about hard working people who are running a mile a minute and getting everything done. LOVED the red dumplings! We also got Mongolian beef (not pictured) which was delicious. Will be back! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5

Stopped by for lunch since I’ve been to the other location. Kitchen staff screaming at each other. One waitstaff taking forever to reset a table, other waitstaff on the phone. Sat there for a while with nobody taking my order. Finally walked out. Only one other table and they were done eating. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Noodle Kitchen has been open for a month now, this is its second location. I get the sense that the previous Japanese restaurant that was here sold everything, down to the decor, which makes the vibe a little confusing for a Chinese restaurant. This is the first authentic style Chinese restaurant in The Woodlands, and judging by the reviews coming in, people here are not ready for it. If you’re the type of person who makes the 50 min drive to Bellaire Chinatown or Katy Asia Town, this restaurant is for you. It’s not exactly the same but at least you saved two hours and got a good meal. We tried the pan fried dumplings, duck bao, kung pao chicken, crispy scallion pancake. All very good and not too greasy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
