It’s currently 4 degrees Celsius in rotorua but Atticus finch has a policy that any reservation after 7 has to eat outside. It’s an insane policy that has no logical answer. They claim it’s so they can start cleaning the restaurant but when we got there at 815, nothing was cleaned in the restaurant until after 9. If at any point during the reservation process it had said that all reservations after 7pm would be outside we would have gone elsewhere. They have insufficient heaters for each table and it’s just frankly dangerous to force people to eat outside during a polar vortex. Cocktails were good. However the rest of the food is a forgettable experience for hat is over seasoned as to hide the quality of the meat. We ordered the meat platter. From their website Atticus finch is supposed to be a small plate restaurant. However after waiting close to 30 minutes for our food to appear a large platter of food of various temperatures was served to us. Steak was overcooked and over seasoned. Fries and kumara were cold from having sat out for a while. The fried chicken was inedible. Venison stew was decent but suffers from being cold from sitting out. The brisket was tough and dry. This is by far the worse meal I’ve had in New Zealand. I do not recommend anyone ordering food here as it is not worth the price. Atticus Finch is one of the best restaurants in Rotorua. They have the best food, Best presentations and Best Service. They are number one for me in Rotorua. It's the best restaurant I've ever been to Outstanding Menu, full of yummy food and the best dish fried chicken With risotto balls and their salad, and the noise wasn't even too much. It was levelled to the spot where we can talk and have fun. go there and have a time of your life. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $90–100 Vegetarian options: For vegetarian, it was really good. There's a lot of vegetarian stuff like Risotto balls. Dietary restrictions: If you have any dietary restrictions, just tell them, and they will let the chefs now Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot, Paid parking lot Parking: Normally, it is free, but you do have to pay for more than one hour. Kid-friendliness: Yes, all kids will have the best time, and the food is great for kids.
