We had a fantastic evening at the restaurant - the food, ambiance, service - everything was perfect. We will definitely be booking to eat at the restaurant again when we return next April! However, apart from the fabulous food and the fact we had such a great evening, I want to add a further note about this lovely place.
When I returned to the UK, I realised that I had left a scarf (not the wooden kind but a fabric patterned one) which had been a birthday present from my fiancé the previous year. To say I was upset was an understatement! I realised the last time I was aware of having worn it was the night we went to the restaurant. So I contacted Au Grenier via Messenger in the hopes it might be there. I got an almost immediate response with a photo. I messaged back offering to pay in advance for the postage and received a lovely message in response to say that the item was being posted back to me, and that as a gift of love, it was precious ❤️. I have received my scarf in the post today and I am so incredibly grateful to Au Grenier for their generosity and thoughtfulness. Not only do they have an AMAZING restaurant, but they are wonderful people too. Merci beaucoup Au Grenier - nous reviendrons!
