Update We had been bragging to our friends that we should go to Calais to have Fish and Chips and finally yesterday we all 4 went. We arrived late and the dish “Fish and Chips” had finished for the day. However on explaining the situation a solutions was found and we were all treated with a meal and service that exceeds any reasonable expectation. Bravo to the kitchen and service for this outstanding experience. We went once again to the Flight Au Vent to have lunch, and as usual we were not disappointed. We had Fish and Chips. Food was tasty and plentiful, almost too much. Waitress was kind and helpful, and we had our food shortly after ordering, but no stress. Prices are more than fair compared to quality Restaurant is charming in aviation style and a good look to aircraft on the apron and runway. Highly recommended
