Right after visiting Alphington park, come for a meal. A number of guests of Au79 state that nicely cooked sandwiches are offered here. It's nice to taste delicious coffee.
The positive aspect of this place is that the staff is patient. As for the Google rating, this spot got 4.3.

We came in around 1PM yesterday,just before closing, and the guy taking our order clearly didn’t want us there. He seemed annoyed and unwelcoming from the start. What made it worse was that when another customer walked in right after us, his attitude completely changed — suddenly friendly and accommodating. The inconsistency was pretty off-putting. Coffee was average at best, and the smoothies were honestly not good. Overall, poor service and underwhelming drinks. Definitely not a place we’d return to. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Other Price per person: $20–40

Enjoyed my matcha. Didn’t however appreciate what appeared to be a regular bringing in her dog to sit at a table next to us and have her dog viciously bark at three very young children with us. The dog was on a leash so couldn’t reach them as it lunged. This happened multiple times as we tried to drink our coffees and the children do some colouring in. Staff didn’t do anything and let the woman continue to sit inside. So instead we grabbed all our stuff and moved to a table outside. Please do better! If a patron is not taking responsibility for their pet and children/families are visibly shaken, then you need to remove that person ie ask them to sit outside. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

AU79 Alphington has become our daily go to for coffee whilst we have been staying with family in Alphington. Great service from Aya, Fern and the team. We have become friends. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
