La Bartavelle

La Bartavelle is a fantastic restaurant located in the quaint town of Vaison-la-Romaine. It is tucked away just off the main square and offers a traditional French cuisine with a modern twist. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxed and unassuming. The menu options are varied and offer great value for money, with a three course lunch menu starting at 16.50€ and a five course dinner menu at 23€. The food is excellent, with highlights being the mis en bouche, the scallops St. Jacques, and the chocolate fondant. The cheese trolley is also worth a mention. The wine list is civilised and reasonably priced, and the champagne based cocktails add to the jolly evening atmosphere. La Bartavelle is definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a relaxed spot with good food in Vaison la Romaine. Highly recommended!
