This award is based on the analysis of multiple factors, including reviews, ratings, and user engagement trends on Restaurant Guru.
Managers need to train food staff in etiquette.
With Covid, touching a persons food to check the hot meal was served cold with bare hands is not acceptable.
Removing food before it was obvious the customer had not finished is not acceptable.
Bar service was good, kitchen service poor as had to wait two hours after ordering.
We moved to the local area around 10 mths ago and recently tried the Auchendarroch Wallis Tavern. My husband and I thought the food was surprisingly good and the service waiters were very friendly and didn't keep us waiting too long to place our order. We lived in Melbourne for a few years and really appreciated the good cafes and restaurants there, so it's nice to find a high quality place to eat here in the Adelaide Hills. The place looks very newly renovated and the staff were excellent, so I'm guessing it's gone through big changes since the previous reviews that I'm reading just now. Great and we'll be back.
Oh dear. How can a 'restaurant' produce a crap burnt schnitzel and a limp ceased salad with no cheese and think that's appropriate?
Staff were nice - shame whoever is in the kitchen can't cook
