I recently checked out Augie’s on Connecticut Street in Buffalo, and overall, it was a solid experience with a few standout moments. The place has a fun, casual vibe—definitely feels like the kind of spot you go to hang out with friends rather than just grab a quick bite. I tried the phone home and the chicken was juicy and tender just the way it’s supposed to be. The fries were a bit crunchy on the outside and nice and fluffy inside. I thought they could’ve used a bit more salt but that’s just my taste. I absolutely loved the cinnamon crunch shake. Definitely something I would get next time. Cream soda float wasn’t bad either but I loved the cinnamon crunch shake more. Overall, Augies is a nice place to hangout with friends and chill, it’s a place where I wouldn’t go frequently or out of my way for but definitely worth a trip once! Came to buffalo for my kids hockey tournament and looked this place up. The place looked amazing and so did the food so we decided to stop in and try it out, boy, we were not disappointed! Customer service was amazing and the food was just as good. I asked the bar tender for a solid local IPA and that also hit on all cylinders. The best part had to be the burgers though, they had a budget friendly burger there since it was Monday and that was great! This was definitely the best spot in buffalo in my humble opinion, would definitely recommend.cheers! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
