It’s an unforgettable experience dining at Aun, an authentic Izakaya restaurant that delivers on local flavors. The yakitori was exceptional, boasting a perfect balance of seasoning and tenderness that left me craving for more. Their menu offers a wide variety of dishes, ensuring there's something for every palate to enjoy. A standout for me was the fried onigiri, it was executed flawlessly. The eggplant, cooked to perfection with a smoky aroma that tantalizes the taste buds, was an absolute delight to savor. Every dish that graced our table was a testament to the skill and dedication of the chefs at Aun. The overall dining experience was further enhanced by the unmistakably Japanese atmosphere that enveloped the restaurant, making me feel transported to the heart of Japan with every bite. However, it's important to note that there are some drawbacks to consider. Seating on the floor may not be comfortable for everyone, and the lack of an English menu could pose a challenge for non-Japanese speakers. Initially, the staff's demeanor towards foreigners might come off as unwelcoming. Despite this, once we made an effort to communicate in Japanese, the server warmed up and became incredibly friendly and accommodating.
