It appears the franchise owners have implemented a deliberate policy instructing employees not to offer small-sizes, even when customers request them. Instead, customers are routinely told that small cups are “unavailable” and are steered toward purchasing an $11 larger size. If this practice is intentional, it could constitute a deceptive sales tactic by misrepresenting product availability to induce customers to spend more than they intended. This does not appear to reflect the standards or business practices one would expect from Auntie Anne’s, and I believe the corporate office should investigate whether this franchise is operating in compliance with company policies and applicable consumer protection laws. Went to the Auntie Anne's in Battlefield Mall. We went on Fri , May 8th at around 7. The girl that rung up my order was very rude and angry. She slammed our order into the bag and acted like we inconvenienced her. We wanted to get an extra cheese dip and she sthrew it in the bag. I tried to pay she said just forget it. I'm 75 and my son and grandson was with me. I've been a manager in retail a long time and so has my son but this behavior should not be tolerated. Maybe she should work in the back but she needs retraining in customer service. I'm a dietician in a hospital and would not have my job if I acted like that.
