A great experience at Paolos’s place, a top restaurant in Ischia! Served by Giulio and Virgilio, rounded by Paolo himself, they served us a memory we won’t forget. Everything in the menu was great, but that fish Wellington we had just blew our minds!! Go and enjoy, do reserve a table else have to wait. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €90–100

It’s almost a universal rule that incredible views and incredible food are mutually exclusive at most restaurants, but Restaurant Auras was an unmistakable exception to that rule. We initially booked our reservation with low expectations for the food, given the stunning views. But from the moment we were greeted, restaurant Auras far exceeded our expectations with their attention to detail and obvious desire to perfect every aspect of the experience. From the hand written greeting waiting at our table, to the photos our waiter Miguel took of us so diligently, the service at Restaurant Auras was perfect. The views were unforgettable and speak for themselves, and made for a perfect backdrop for the delicious dinner we were served. Every dish we ordered was executed perfectly with outstanding flavor. The squid in particular had a strong grilled flavor that was emphasized by the savoriness of the melted pork belly inside. The lobster gnocchi was perfectly pillowy with a fresh tomato sauce. The seafood ravioli were filled generously with the sweetest and juiciest clams and mussels we’ve ever tried. Restaurant Auras earns itself a stunning 10/10 in every category. Even the fact that they reserve your table for a full 2 hours goes to show the intentionality with which they curate your experience over pursuing profit. You simply cannot go wrong coming here and I cannot recommend it highly enough! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner
