We had visited this restaurant twice before and actually enjoyed the food, which is why we decided to come back for a third visit. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing and completely different from our previous visits. Almost every dish we ordered lacked flavour and quality. • The Dragon Eye was meant to be 6 pieces, but one piece was noticeably half-sized, and the taste was not good at all. 1/5 • The Salmon Maki rolls were extremely tiny and completely bland. 0/5 • The Pad Thai was very disappointing and lacked proper flavour. 1/5 • The Pad Kee Mao was the only dish that was somewhat decent, but it was served cold. 3.5/5 • We specifically requested the Green Curry to be spicy, but it was overly sweet and not spicy whatsoever. 3.5/5 • Even the steamed rice portion was surprisingly small. The service and atmosphere made the experience even worse. The staff were not rude, but they seemed completely uninterested and unwelcoming. The waiter barely spoke while taking our order and only nodded, which made the whole interaction feel uncomfortable. We were the only customers there, yet the restaurant felt awkwardly silent with no background music — At one point they even switched the A/C off while we were eating, and we had to ask them to turn it back on. It’s honestly disappointing because we had good experiences during our first two visits. Sadly, after this experience, we don’t think we’ll be returning again and would not recommend it based on this visit. The food tasted okay overall. I ordered the pad thai, and the portion was huge, honestly enough for two people. The atmosphere was a bit dark and gloomy, though. Maybe because it was quiet when I came and there were only around three occupied tables. I also wasn’t really sure about the service. The waiters didn’t seem rude, but they looked more confused than attentive, which made it feel a little awkward instead of welcoming. One thing that stood out to me was when I asked for bottled water, and the staff handed it to me while holding the bottle by the neck like kids passing drinks around at school Small detail, but it felt a bit odd for restaurant service. The table setup also confused me a bit. There were so many cutleries around the plate, two forks and two spoons, and the arrangement felt unnecessary. Also, this is a Thai restaurant, but they didn’t provide chopsticks. So while eating, I genuinely was like, “am I eating pad thai or pasta?” I also tried the fish cake, but unfortunately it wasn’t my favorite. It was too hard and not very enjoyable.
