When we sat down at this restaurant, there was an older female waitress who was visibly sighing because she had to move a table so that we could sit in the corner. We were then asked what we wanted to drink. We asked for lemonade without gas for the children. But we got gas. The kids don't drink that, so we said we really wanted to run out of gas. The drink was then collected, but after a minute she came back again with the same drink. I think she understood me, but the older waiter simply sent her back with this drink. An older gray man also came from the service and said you have to order now because the kitchen is closing. It was 4 o'clock in the afternoon. I say, give us 2 minutes because we still have to figure something out. He also walks away sighing. Then another waitress came. I was now completely done with this matter, but because I was here with young children I just stayed, who were counting on some food and getting up, which again was very unclear. I told this waitress that I was now quite pissed off and if the kitchen was closing now, they could have told me before I sat down and the story about the lemonade had not yet been resolved. Fortunately she was reasonable. We have placed our order. The food wasn't too expensive, but it wasn't high quality either. The fries were lukewarm, the chicken was a bit boring and dry. I didn't really like the 3 cheese pizza. It looked a bit like the fries and chicken were leftovers that they could quickly throw on a plate. After all, the kitchen was closing soon. In the corner where we sat, I had to keep a close eye on my child to ensure that he did not get his hands in the dust nest behind him. They had not charged for the wine at checkout. That was nice. The man at checkout seemed like the owner to me, and was also quite a nice guy. I would give him the tip, your younger staff are quite nice and capable, but the older ladies and gentlemen in the service really give off a very negative energy. Too bad! I recently dined at Aux Coteaux restaurant and was impressed! It is a traditional place that offers an incredible variety of dishes, all prepared with fresh, quality products.
