Traditional breakfast, brewed coffee is WEAK and there are no espresso drinks. The migas were tasty, but it’s mostly very traditional eggs and toast kind of place. Stefanie is a fantastic server, she was attentive and took very good care of us. I’m sure we’ll be back as a matter of convenience, but it’s not a place I’m anxious to come return to for any special menu offerings or strong coffee (they don’t have that). I had a wonderful dining experience at this Avalon Diner on Katy Freeway. Employees were friendly and food came out quickly. My first meal was the 1938 Burger. It was so delicious. Then, I brought my friends to eat brunch here one day last month. Service was awesome. The breakfast items were huge. I would be back soon.
