The recipe for success of this bar is its tasty tiramisu, cannolis and gelato. It's time to degustate delicious marsala, liqueur or beer. You will hardly forget great lemonade or good coffee that you can taste.

Decent attentive servers Food was served quickly, but not very good. I had a margarita pizza and it looked and tasted like someone poured ketchup over dough and put a little mozzarella on with stale tasteless basil. So disappointing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Hi Chris sorry about your experience I hope you get Avanzare on other chance for a pizza margarita will be the simplest thing I am surprised you didn’t say something in the spot we always have a different opinion for are guests

7 of us dined there last night and couldn't have been more disappointed. Food was sub-par at best. We chose Avanzare because of their many options for vegetarian and gluten free options. The manicotti was tasteless, the flatbread pizzas were thin, round pizza crust with tomato sauce. My pork chop was passable but the chopped broccoli on the side had a very bitter dressing on it. The kids breaded chicken breast was clearly overcooked and difficult to cut and her chocolate milk didn't taste like chocolate milk. My wife had the salmon which she described as salty. 3 hours after dinner she came down with diarrhea. The service was good but no one checked back with us to see if our food was good so we had no opportunity to give feedback. At the end we were offered espresso or dessert which we all declined. He seemed miffed that none of us wanted to see the dessert menu. That was the last time we saw our server. We waited and waited for check and it didn't come. We finally asked a different server for our check, which we got. The tab was $247.00 for the seven of us. We all agreed that the sign reading "Chicago's finest Italian restaurant" should be taken down. Service: Dine in Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
