Nice atmosphere and service. Unfortunately, the food was quite bland and expensive for what it was. I probably won't go back.

Very sad to see this place close. Kirk and Jackie will be missed in the local restaurant scene. Best wishes on their new adventures in the Kelowna area. I always enjoyed the steak and frites and the warm and freindly service.

I was at Avec Bistro for Big Taste Calgary and I enjoyed the food and drinks very much. The service was prompt and our server was also very knowledgeable, kind and patient. I would of rated 5 stars, but it was a set menu so I wasn't able to look at their full menu. Nevertheless, I recommend eating here for either a date or business meeting. The setting is very calming, quiet yet classy without being overly formal.
