I went to Aveika Restaurant today as part of #NE1RestaurantWeek and was not disappointed. Delicious food. Lovely venue and very attentive staff. Can't wait until my next visit.

First time at this restaurant bank holiday Monday would not recommend at all. First we were asked for ID which was taken away out of our sight passport and driver’s license not sure if that follows Gpdr rules waitress extremely rude table not social distanced from next table food brought to our table three times that we hadn’t ordered. Paid for bottomless brunch which wasn’t explained to us what it entailed. Aperol spritz was most definitely watered down food not great was asked to leave table after ordering bottle of Prosecco saying our slot was up. Most definitely a disappointing afternoon .Especially as this was my first foray out after lockdown and my daughter had travelled up from London to meet up for the first time since last March.
