Terrible, please do not believe the rumors that Avocados is owned by Cafe Maya - It is not, nor is the food even close in comparison. I've been here twice and both experiences were lack luster to say the least... Living in hopewell I was excited when a mexican restaurant opened so close. Unfortunately the quality of food makes its location not worth its convenience. Their salsa is very "tomatoey" and almost tastes like italian tomato sauce. Main courses are okay at best, hit my biggest complaint is the cleanliness. During my last visit my date and I got grey colored ice cubes in our drinks. Once we removed them to take a closer look you could see dirt frozen inside, possibly from a dirty ice machine. We sent the drinks back and have not returned. Don't waste your time, drive the extra 5 min to cafe maya if you're in the mood for mexican food.

Good Mexican food in a clean, comfortable setting with courteous, quick service.We had the table side guacamole, two margaritas, and for entrees carnitas and chille relleno, they all tasted great.Only drawback was that the place wasn’t busy at all, and we usually like high traffic restaurants for freshness reasons, the food though was fine.
