It was unexpected trip to the Awake Till Asleep (actually I was coming because of the smell of coffee roasting), but as a coffee enjoyer back then in Indonesia, I can say that the coffee that the owner roast are fantastic. 10/10 will come again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awake til sleep, Taipei 肉丸三明治加蛋 Meatball Bahn Mi （$110） Beef Bahn Mi was unavailable, so this was recommended by the owner. I personally found it just average. The vegetables were fresh and the sauce was also good! However, the meatballs had some little chunks of fat and meat that were hard to chew. I also wished there were more vegetables. Environment: Although the cafe was just small, the atmosphere was really pleasant and warm. The owner welcomed customers with a bright smile and was very efficient in her service also loved their music! Overall: The flavor of the sandwich was acceptable but a bit underwhelming. Not a fan of their meatballs, but I’d go back to try out the other flavors and their coffee! The lady owner was very accommodating and welcoming.
