Taizoin Garden is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this restaurant after long walks. Locals recommend Japanese dishes at Awazu. A lot of visitors say that waiters serve nicely cooked sashimi, ramen and okonomiyaki here.

We ate a 5-course dinner here after our bike tour around Kyoto. The restaurant is run by the guide's family. Very welcoming and kind people. They spoke English and they had the menu in English as well, which was very helpful. Yuki explained the food as they arrived. The food was delicious! One of our friends, who normally doesn't like ramen, loved it at Awazu! The space is cozy on tatami mats. We would definitely eat here again if we're in Kyoto!
