Aya Restaurant, nestled on Ni Street in the city of Asahi, offers diners a cozy Japanese dining experience. Known locally for its notable dishes like duck and motsunabe hot pots, available through reservations, Aya seems to be a favorite among community members. Despite the warm atmosphere, prospective visitors might be interested to know that the establishment operates strictly on a cash-only basis and encourages patrons to book a table in advance due to its popularity.
While offering modest surprise in neighborhood dialect exchange, Aya's setting provides an authentic taste without stepping outside comfort zones, thanks to a menu featuring small plates, beer, and other alcohol options. However, updates from the owner have been lacking, making details like current operating hours unclear, which some potential diners might wish to clarify beforehand. Additionally, the restaurant may pose accessibility challenges for individuals requiring wheelchair-accessible facilities.
Although five years have passed since the last visitor review was shared, those remarks reflected an appreciation for both the hearty yakitori servings and the chef's culinary skills, contributing to the locale's inviting charm. Unfortunately, the reviews do not shed much light on whether there have been any recent updates or changes at Aya. If you are planning to visit this moderate-priced dining spot, it may be worth checking in on their current offerings and practices to ensure a smooth experience.

焼き鳥が大きくてとても美味しいです。 常連さんがいて賑やかですが親戚の 家にいるようなアットホームなお店です。 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
