Landed on Elephantine Island with no idea of what part we were at and were starving. A local elder suggested this place and we had a quick lunch, just a couple of orders of Falafel. Like the title says, this is is a house restaurant so you really are getting an authentic home cooked meal. Our falafel was without a doubt the best we had on our entire trip, crispy and airy, freshly cooked. Delicious. Wish we had tried other dishes. The owners were very sweet and invited us into their home for tea and dessert. Lovely people. Highly recommended!
