Chefs menu: All dishes had very distinct tastes where the different ingredients were in clear focus. Excellent quality of tastes to an agreeable price. And good quality wines/champagnes to favorable prices. The service was excellent. A hidden gem (backyard in Trondheimsveien 2) in Oslo. Go there! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We visited B Vin for their special Barolo wine tasting event, featuring explanations directly from the producers and a white truffle menu. We chose the 6-course tasting menu — meat for my husband and fish for me — and everything was exceptional. The restaurant is small but very cozy, creating an intimate atmosphere that fits perfectly with the experience. The chef’s background and expertise really shine through: a modern cuisine style enriched with touches of Piemonte tradition and Scandinavian ingredients. Despite working in a small kitchen, the chef uses impressive techniques and methods to transform each dish into a memorable experience. The sommelier, also with an excellent background, curated a perfect wine pairing that elevated every course — especially the Barolo selection during the event. Overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. We are super happy with our evening and will definitely come back!
