Had lunch today, barramundi with crisp skin, it was the smallest piece I ever been served, precooked and warmed up by the look too.
The salad with fennel not fresh, at best from yesterday. Overall we didn't complain so not to spoil our day out but we would not recommend.
This is after our second time at Banks Cafe. It was perfect. So was the first time. The room is lovely, very light and bright and laid out. The meal was brought soon after getting our drinks, and was rated by me as one of the best restaurant meals ever swallowed. But supremely, it's the staff attitude - genuine, nice exchanges, relaxed, appreciative, - that makes this café the great eat-out that it is. The views help, but it's actually the staff.
