Bar Hash — for those who love unconventional cocktails and drinks, intimacy, and soft music. When we approached, the doors of this establishment reminded me of a private club — the kind where entry is granted only by a secret word or code. Yet the door opened easily, and we were greeted by a warm and welcoming barwoman. Inside, a small hall with cozy soft sofas and chairs. There's a bar counter, but no stools by it. Beautiful music plays softly. Street noise from outside is barely audible — you feel completely cut off from the loud, bustling atmosphere surrounding Ueno. This place is perfect for: Dates Small gatherings of 2–4 people Nomikai (after-work drinking parties) — can accommodate 8–10 people The menu includes: Variety of traditional Japanese sake from different regions of Japan, including premium sake like Dassai. Low-alcohol drinks will surprise you with their variety of flavors. We tried cocktails with sakura, matcha, plum, and a melon-flavored beer ale. Cocktails came with Japanese snacks — pickled ginger. Additional snacks are also available at reasonable prices. Please note: Cash payment is not accepted. ️Location: 3-minute walk from Ueno-okachimachi Station (Oedo Line) and Ueno Station (Ginza Line). This establishment is ideal for groups who prefer a calm and quiet experience. Perfect for a date — you can treat your partner to an interesting selection of sake. Great for conversations with friends or colleagues. The venue values privacy — it's not easy to see who's inside from the street. However, I missed having a table by the window, and perhaps adding candles, flowers, or other intimate decorations would enhance the atmosphere even more. Delicious sake cocktails! Also, their craft beer selection is top notch! They even had a beer from Okayama where my husband is from! Super yummy! The bartender was super kind and friendly as well! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Make sure to try the sakura sake, it’s light and easy to drink for women like myself. The location is superb, 1 mins from station and easy to find Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
