I came here with a coworker twice within one week because the food was great, BUT the customer service we received from the owners were extraordinary! James and Anita truly know how to make you feel welcomed the moment you walk through the door until the moment you walk out. We had the fried chicken on one day and the fish on another. The chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned to perfection. James even took the time to make a fresh batch for my coworker. He was engaging and talked with us as if we had been friends for years. The next visit we had the fish which was prepared with the same tasteful results as the chicken. A little souther twist he shared with us was that the fish needed to be eaten with onion and pickle to bring out the exceptional flavor of the fish. We were A bit skeptical but after trying this unique pairing he was spot on. Great food, great conversation, and most of all the southern hospitality was the best I’ve ever had. Keep up the good work. Anytime I’m in this area I’ll certain be back!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food tasted really awesome! Service was great UNTIL our server went to the restroom and returned to work without washing her hands! It is state law that employees must wash hands after using the bathroom. And it is a big no no for me. DISGUSTING! After seeing that I did not finish my food and will not return.

RIB-ALICIOUS !!!! This place HONESTY has some of THE BEST rids I've EVER tasted. Funny thing is, I didn't know that this place was actually local and located less than a mile from where I work Needless to say, I HAD TO GO FIND IT !!!! After work I went to go get more rids, only to find out they were sold out. However, I discovered I ALSO LOVED their Smoked Turkey (and I'm NOT a big turkey fan), their sausages, the boudin and other menu items. Not only was the food great, so was the family unit that operates the restaurant. They really know how to SHOW SOME LOVE (not only in their food) but to their customers as well. Thank you so much B&D BBQ Joint (Mr. Billy Sr, Jr., and III, Nicole and Mindy). I'll see you all again REAL SOON
