Great offerings but membership staff need some customer service training. The random walking staff were full of smiles and jokes!

The store is usually pretty empty which I love but the gas station is so slow! Not just from people messing with card readers but the pumps themselves are the slowest pumps I’ve ever used. Someone needs to inspect the fuel filter or something

I recently visited the newly opened BJ's Wholesale Club in Forney, (opened 2 days back on Friday and today is Sunday) and while the store itself is impressive, the overall experience had a few growing pains. As expected with a brand-new location—especially the first in Texas —the place was extremely busy, leading to long lines both inside and at checkout. Parking is currently a major challenge; the lot feels undersized for the level of traffic, and finding a spot can take a while during peak hours. That said, once inside, the store does deliver on variety and quality. The meat selection stands out in particular, with a wide range of fresh options that are well-stocked and appealing. The layout is clean and modern, making it relatively easy to navigate despite the crowds. One of the biggest positives is the staff—friendly, helpful, and patient even with the heavy rush of customers. It’s clear they’re making an effort to provide good service despite the high demand. Overall, this BJ’s has strong potential and brings a solid alternative to other warehouse clubs in the area. However, improvements in parking capacity and crowd management will be key as the initial hype settles.
