Come for a meal right after seeing Crooked Run Orchard. You can always degust nicely cooked bagel sandwiches - a special offer of BKD Bagels. Tasty bagels have a good taste. Visit this place for good coffee.

My only complaint was service. Two people behind counter. Neither asked if they could help me. I wanted to ask if they were working or just hanging out. The food was good.

I've read some reviews comparing their bagels unfavorably to this place or that in NJ or NY...I don't have the time to drive 4 hours for a Saturday morning bagel, so I would put this up there with anything else I can find in a 30 minute drive of Leesburg so I think what they have here is good stuff. Generous portion of cream cheese and having the nice porch and pond setting in Purcellville is a plus. Plenty of seating inside for those colder days too. The other issue I've seen raised is prices. Yes, it may be a little higher than I would like but having dropped similar at Einsteins/Dunkin or other mass market spots for less quality, I think overall it's a decent value.

My wife asked if we wanted bagels. She said she'd pick them up at BKD Bagels as she was in Purcellville. My son & I asked for salt bagels. What we got were plain bagels. Not happy. We don't need to get bagels from BKD in Purcellville again.
