Almost to thr end of the crowded Hakone stree is Bootea. While listed as a snack shop, it is really a butadon (pork rice bowl) restaurant. Just a few items on the menu but the food is fantastic. Slices of pork slices covers the rice top with onsen egg. Prices are definitely worth the quantity and quality. Personally feel it is better than the more commercialised restaurants nearer to the station. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Delicious restaurant of various pork entrees. I opted for the taco rice bowl, tasty of savory and lightly sweet sauce mixed with lettuce and tomatoes over rice, egg included (best part). I also had a few bites of pork in a different entree, also tasty. Great service. Cash only. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
