I would like to give this cafe a great review. The venue is obviously popular. The wait staff were pleasant, and even asked a couple who had just sat down, to take another table so that our table of 5 adults and three small children could have the large table. We were grateful for this courtesy from the staff, and the couple especially. Sadly, however, the kitchen service seemed glacial. Drinks came promptly but the children and their parents waited for over an hour for waffles and icecream, a cheese toasty and two breakfast dishes. Even for adults an hour wait, in my mind, is excessive. For three hungry small people, it is an eternity. Even asking passing wait staff how much longer for the childrens order didn't seem to speed things up. A very disappointing experience. Service: Dine in Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Incredible food, we got the Croquettes and Bacon as well as the Strawberry and Lime Crepes. The Croquettes needed a little more seasoning but the regular bacon was delicious and the Crepes were fantastic. Heavy for only one person to eat, but great to split. The lime was a great acid balance but not overpowering. The crepes were soft and stuffed with cream. Definitely would recommend Box Office Cafe if you're in Geelong.
