I put fuel in my car then used the air compressor. I had use the compressor here before with no issues but today the air pump was releasing air in my tyre and it was less air than I started with . After 10 minutes of trying, I went in to speak to the attendant and asked if there were any issues with the compressor. The attendant said there were issues with it, some customers had reported issues and they have a technician coming the following day to service it. I told her they should put a sign on it that it’s out of order as my tyre pressure was now dangerously low. The attendant was very polite, but I’ll never go there again. They were aware of the safety issue and allowed customers to put themselves at inconvenience & risk. No common sense.

Thought I would help the BP owner out here in response to the poor accusation that BP are scamming people on their pumps after the review I read about the 5lt gerry can and how it managed to get 5.6lt into it I had to laugh. OMG. A 5-litre plastic jerry can is designed to safely hold a maximum of 5 litres of liquid up to its marked fill line. The total, or "brimful," capacity of the physical container is slightly larger (often around 5.5 to 5.75 litres or even up to 110% of the stated capacity) to allow for expansion. This extra space (vapour space) is a crucial safety feature, especially when storing flammable liquids like fuel. Liquids expand when exposed to heat (e.g., sitting in direct sunlight or a warm car), and filling the can to the very top could cause it to burst or leak, creating a significant fire hazard. Nuffy
