To say we were disappointed with Brasamar is an understatement. There was one other table being occupied. The waiter was rude and pushy. My friend asked for the molcajete del mar ($430 pesos) not the molcajete del mar y tierra ($950 pesos) as she doesn’t eat meat. She showed him on the menu what she wanted. Waiter returns 15 minutes later and advises the molcajete is served cold but the Mar y tierra is hot. We’re like huh? It’s not a seafood cocktail, it’s a molcajete. They’re usually boiling hot, being they’re served in a lava molcajete dish. He says okay and leaves. Food is served. My fish and chips were subpar - cold chips and greasy fish. Molcajete finally comes out. It’s the Mar and Tierra. Friend tells him no, she doesn’t eat meat. He’s says it’s chorizo not meat numerous times. She sent it back and we shared my dish. Normally I give places 2 tries but not this one. Price per person: $400–500 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
