Yesterday I stopped in Brio Tuscan Grille to kill some time before an appointment in the Town Center. I arrived around 4:30 PM and made my way to the bar. The restaurant was very empty but to be expected being early in the afternoon. I was given a Bar Bites menu with items that can only be ordered at the bar but are equivalent to items on the main menu but much cheaper. I'm not sure if these items can be ordered anytime or if it is specifically for Happy Hour. Nonetheless, I started off with the Lobster Ravioli ($12) from the main menu because I had a complimentary appetizer coupon. The 4 ravioli's were stuffed with succulant main lobster with a light lemon sauce drizzled on top. The order came out within minutes but were not hot at all. In fact I would call them room temperature at best. The lobster was tasty but again would have been much more satisfying if they had been hot. I also had the $5 red Sangria from the Happy Hour menu. The Sangria was good but not the best I've ever had. I did like the fact that it was not super sweet. From the bar bites menu I selected the Chicken & Pesto Flatbread ($4). On the main menu it is ($11). This flatbread was covered with tender pieces of chicken with fresh mozzarella, mascarpone, aged parmigiana, and drizzled with house-made pesto. The flatbread was absolutely delicious. It was very warm with a little thicker crust than your average flatbread. The chicken and oozing cheese was quite satisfying. I quickly found out that they have $5 Martini Wednesday's, so I concluded my meal with the bartender's recommendation, the Lemon Basil Crush Martini. It was quite refreshing and not overpowering. Overall good experience with attentive service. I highly recommend coming during their Happy Hour or sitting at the bar because you certainly can't beat the price.
